This month Roeslein & Associates, Inc. went 1,000 days without a lost time incident (LTI), a huge safety milestone at its Modular Fabrication Facility in Red Bud, IL.

According to the Occupational Safety and Health Administration (OSHA), a lost time incident occurs when an employee is injured on the job in such a way to prohibit that employee from performing their work and results in missed work time. Roeslein has recently reorganized their safety program to include additional training, daily stretching, weekly safety meetings as well as offering courses in First Aid and CPR certification.

“It’s important for us to always think of our workplace safety as something that is continually improving and not a reactive process,” said Ryan Kirkpatrick, Roeslein’s EHS Manager. “We want all of our employees to be aware of their actions and environment at all times so that they are able to eliminate or reduce risk and avoid any possible injuries.”

Roeslein & Associates was founded in 1990, specializing in engineering, modular fabrication and construction services. The company has product offerings in both the container manufacturing (canmaking) industry and the process and energy sectors. Its 350+ employees are spread throughout offices in St. Louis, MO (HQ), Red Bud, IL, Denver, CO, Birmingham, UK and Shanghai, China. To find out more, please visit https://roeslein.com.
