Roeslein & Associates, Inc. is pleased to announce the acquisition of Sager Metal Strip Company (Sager) in a transaction that will be completed October 31, 2020. Sager has been a leading supplier of conveyance for the canmaking industry for more than 25 years out of their offices in Michigan City, Indiana.

“This is a huge opportunity for both companies to come together to better serve the canmaking market,” said Roeslein’s Divisional President, Manufacturing, Rob Campbell. “We have been working closely with Sager for the last 25 years and have developed a strong relationship. Bringing them into the Roeslein family will allow us to better serve our clients in a time when the global demand for aluminum beverage cans is unprecedented. This acquisition will allow us to further expand our production capabilities for the Pride Conveyance line of products and services.”

This move adds an additional 100,000 sq. ft. of conveyance fabrication space and 30 employees to Roeslein’s global fabrication capabilities. Roeslein’s new Indiana facility will be led by Sager alum Jerry Eapmon as Production Manager, and Alex Strelinski will fulfill the role of Operations Manager.

“Being a part of a global organization is an exciting opportunity for my team,” said Eapmon. “Not only are we coming in as employee-owners, but we will also have access to greater resources to serve our current client base. I am looking forward to joining the Roeslein family and what that means for the future of our companies.”

“Since acquiring Pride in 2018 we have almost doubled their output capacity by expanding the production to all of our global locations,” said Brian Sneed, Roeslein’s President and COO. “The can handling experience and expertise that the Sager team brings to Roeslein is truly a perfect fit to our overall growth strategy.”

Sager will do business under their new name, Roeslein & Associates of Indiana, LLC and will be commonly known as Roeslein – Michigan City.
