Roeslein & Associates has officially launched its 2016 Summer Internship Program. This year, Roeslein has welcomed ten new interns and five returning interns into its program. The goal of this program is to immerse interns in a real world experience; allowing them to focus on time management, communication skills, focused career talents and project development. Additionally, it allows them the opportunity to interact with Roeslein leaders and business professionals with the potential for networking and future employment.

A kickoff event was held the last week of May, in which CEO and Owner, Rudi Roeslein welcomed the interns and invited them to embrace this experience. Following the welcome, the group went through an orientation day, a tour of the facility, and a group lunch.

This is the third intern class for Roeslein & Associates. Launching its program in the summer of 2014, the program is continually expanding and opening new doors. With a variety of talents and positions held across the intern class, it is important for each intern to be assigned to a managing supervisor who can focus in on their capabilities and provide them with the most in-depth and personalized experience possible.

When asked why he chose Roeslein for his internship, Tyler Overmann, Project Coordinator Intern, had this to say, “I chose Roeslein for many reasons, two of the most important being, its location and that it is employee-owned. I was very impressed that it was an employee-owned company. To me, that speaks volumes and lets me know that the employees are always working to strive for what’s best for the company. I knew I would be in good hands and gain a great understanding of my position within the industry.”

Nick Grebel, a Project Manager for Roeslein, is a managing supervisor this year for the intern program. When questioned about his thoughts on the program, he said, “It is crucial for the next generation of talent to gain real-world experience in the industry, and we are taking every opportunity we have to help foster these young individuals into becoming great professionals.  This is an exciting program to be a part of Roeslein, and we are determined to ensure that these opportunities exist for the betterment of our industry.”

This year’s summer internship program will run from May 23, 2016, through August 12, 2016. During their time with Roeslein, the internship group will be broken up to allow the individuals to study in their field of knowledge. The group will meet weekly for various events including networking and communication seminars, resume and portfolio building, and lunches with the President, CFO, and CEO of Roeslein. The internship group will also be in attendance at the annual All Company Meeting held in July, as well as, several other various events.
