Integrated Manufacturing Technologies (now known as Roeslein’s Red Bud, IL fabrication facility) celebrated a major milestone for its safety record in May by exceeding 468,960 man-hours without a single lost-time incident. This record dates back to August 21st, 2009 when the last incident occurred.

The entire plant team had a barbeque lunch on May 17th, at which ownership partners Rob Campbell, Brian Sneed, Terry Leebolt and Charles Reneski were present to congratulate the group on their achievement, and for continuing to make safety a primary focus of their daily work routines. IMT is committed to extending this excellent record by implementing new safety training procedures, and continuing monthly safety audits and weekly “Toolbox Talks” which focus on common sense ways to identify and mitigate common hazards that cause slips, falls and other accidents.  Each worker at IMT provides two examples weekly of specific instances in which they take concrete action to maintain or improve safety. Well posted reminders, mandatory safety videos and starting all meetings with a brief discussion of safety issues all help to make safety a part of the IMT culture and promote systematic efforts to focus the entire company’s attention on this vital concern.
