Roeslein & Associates, Inc. has recently sponsored a new initiative by the Boy Scouts of America (BSA), Greater St. Louis Area Council, to further promote their Boy Scout Merit Badge Program. Roeslein & Associates donated $2,500 to the 2017 Merit Badge Program. This donation is in addition to the employee matching program they offer, which has given up to $5,000 to the Boy Scouts of America the past several years.

Through its donation to the Merit Badge Program, Roeslein was able to sponsor the Engineering badge for one year exclusively. The Engineering badge is one of more than 130 different badges that Scouts can earn by participating in the program. These badges cover a wide variety of subjects that range from business to sports and crafts. By working towards different merit badges, Scouts participate in one of the most rewarding and educational programs offered by Boy Scouts of America.

“Roeslein & Associates has been a longtime supporter of the Boy Scouts of America. We have many employees that experienced the Boy Scouts during their youth and still support them today as adult leaders and mentors,” explained Rob Campbell, Vice President of Operations for Roeslein & Associates.  “We are proud to be the 2017 Sponsor of the Engineering Merit Badge for the Greater St. Louis Area Council, and look forward to what we can do in the future to continue supporting the Boy Scouts of America program.”

Scouting programs, such as Boy Scouts of America, offer outdoor adventures and give young people the opportunity and freedom to explore the world beyond the boundaries of everyday life. It presents them with chances to try new things, provide service to others, build self-confidence, and develop leadership skills. These experiences stay with the Scouts throughout their lives and as they grow into exceptional men and women.
